Takeuchi announces the addition of the TB138FR to its already expansive line of excavators.

This model features a patented side-to-side offset boom system combined with zero tail swing, which allows the TB138FR to slew 360°, only inches beyond the excavator’s track width. A low center of gravity offers the stability and craning capacities of conventional excavators and the added functionality of working in exceptionally confined areas.

A tilt-up operator’s platform combined with a full opening engine compartment offers quick access for service and maintenance. An automatic fuel bleed system eliminates the downtime and service calls required to bleed conventional fuel systems.

A control pattern selector valve allows for quick change of operating controls between SAE and ISO patterns to accommodate operator preferences. An electrohydraulic push button and proportional slide switch located in the left-hand joystick ensure precise control of the auxiliary hydraulic circuit.

The TB138FR is available with an open canopy or fully enclosed cab. Cabin units are standard equipped with heater, air conditioning, defroster, wiper and retractable front window with a removable lower section.
