The SKT-SP Sequential Kinking Terminal distributed by Gregory is an energy-absorbing, tangent end terminal. When struck end-on, the kinetic energy of the impacting vehicle is dissipated as the SKT-SP impact head travels along the W-beam rail while sequentially kinking it away from the traffic. The longer SKT-SP impact head provides a more consistent impact performance, a reduction in deceleration forces, and facilitates faster removal after repair.
