Bomag Americas Inc., Kewanee, Ill., introduces the BW900-2 tandem-drum roller with a series-type hydraulic travel system for improved performance on steep graders. The BW900-2 (Circle 919) features a high-performance, 18-hp Honda gasoline engine and 22-in.-diam. drums that are the largest in its class. It also includes a redesigned, ergonomic instrument panel, more accessible tie-down and recessed working lights. Recessed mounts for optional front and rear working lights improve vandal protection and help minimize potential damage from routine jobsite hazards.
