Makita U.S.A. Inc. announced the release of the company’s first 36-V cordless tool, the 36V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 1-in. Rotary Hammer Kit, model BHR261. The new cordless rotary hammer adds to Makita’s extensive LXT Series of cordless tools featuring LXT lithium-ion battery technology, which delivers more power, less weight and better engineering. The new BHR261 was engineered to deliver the speed and power of a corded 1-in. SDS-Plus rotary hammer, with the added flexibility of cordless operation.
