The CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 international construction industries exposition has set an exhibit space sales record, soaring to more than 1.9 million net sq ft of exhibit space with more than 13 months to go before the show is held March 11-15, 2008, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.

This is the fourth consecutive time that the triennial exposition has broken its previous exhibit-space total, starting with the 1999 show.

More than 1,000 exhibitors have signed on, ranging from longtime show participants to first-time exhibitors, and from multinational firms with extensive equipment lines to small companies with specialized products. The leading U.S. and global manufacturers will be exhibiting, and CONEXPO-CON/AGG also will feature country-specific international exhibit pavilions. Complementing the show's exhibits are the product offerings of the co-located IFPE International Exposition for Power Transmission, the largest industry gathering in North America for the motion-control industry.

"Attendees will find a broader array of companies and products than ever before, all in one place, making it easier to compare product capabilities and choose those that best meet their business needs," said CONEXPO-CON/AGG Director Megan Tanel.

The last CONEXPO-CON/AGG, held in 2005, topped off at more than 1.88 million net sq ft and was the largest trade exposition of any industry in the U.S. or Canada that year.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 will be the largest international gathering place in 2008 for the construction industries, expected to attract some 125,000 industry professionals from around the world.

Show management attributes strong exhibitor interest not only to CONEXPO-CON/AGG's reputation of attracting a highly qualified buying audience, but also to the show's philosophy of being an industry-run show, giving back to the industry.

"Exhibitors know we deliver quality customer service and real value, with their needs our highest priority, and that show revenues support industry projects," added Tanel.

Exhibit space is still available on a first come, first served basis. For more information on attending or exhibiting, call 414/298-4141 or visit online at www.conexpoconagg.com.
