Several companies introduced new or updated products at this year's World of Concrete 2021 Trade Show, which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 8-10.
Doosan debuts new wheel loader with increased bucket capacity
Doosan Infracore North America debuted one of its new -7 Series wheel loaders, the DL380-7, at World of Concrete 2021. The next-generation Doosan DL380-7 replaces the DL350-5 in the company’s wheel loader lineup. The standard bucket of the DL380-7 has 7% greater capacity than the DL350-5.
To enable these greater capacities, the beefed-up -7 Series models feature stronger, larger axles and a strengthened box frame. The new axles also offer better braking capacity to extend the lifetime of the brake discs. These features are sure to make the new DL380-7 wheel loader popular among contractors who use the machines regularly to load trucks.
Doosan DX140LC-5 crawler excavator offers machine updates
The 14-metric-ton Doosan DX140LC-5 crawler excavator replaced the “dash-3” model, featuring exceptional performance, operator-focused comfort, fuel economy, and jobsite durability.
The DX140LC-5 excavator is designed for long life with an extra-sturdy frame and reinforced superstructure. The excavator comes standard with permanently sealed and lubricated track links, and the bushings and hard-wear disks are designed for reliability as well as extended service intervals to increase uptime.
Husqvarna Construction launches next generation battery power cutter
With K1 PACE, Husqvarna takes a big step forward and offers customers a high power battery cutter that can handle the heavy duty jobs, the company says. This is the first product to be launched on the company's new battery system, PACE.
The PACE battery system can be utilized for more machines as the battery-powered family expands. In addition to the power cutters and battery system, diamond blades in 12-in. and 14-in./300 and 350 mm have been optimized for battery operation. The machine is also equipped with X-Halt brake function capable of stopping the rotation of a blade in a fraction of a second for enhanced safety.
Doosan Portable Power announces launch of new Evolution Series portable air compressors
Doosan Portable Power announced the launch of its new Evolution Series portable air compressors. These new machines are a significant technological update for Doosan portable air compressors. Three of the four models of this new line have Doosan FlexAir technology, a new feature that allows operators to adjust air pressure to a wide psi range. Two of the new models with Doosan FlexAir technology, the Doosan Evolution Series P185-HP150WDO-T4F and XP185-VHP165WDO-T4F, are in the 185 cfm class.
