The 18-hp TC20 compact-crawler excavator from Terex, Westport, Conn., is designed with a top-mounted boom cylinder to provide maximum protection during operation. The boom is offset to the right in order to provide exceptional visibility to the operator. A quick-coupler bucket adapter makes it easy for bucket and attachment changes. The unit also is plumbed with an auxiliary hydraulic circuit with open, pressureless retune to provide additional flexibility in adding attachments. The TC20 has an operating weight of 4,455 lb with a maximum dig depth of 8 ft 2 in., a maximum reach of 14 ft 4 in.
