Call for photo gallery images

Looking to showcase jobsite progress on current road and bridge projects

Similar to our efforts to boost exposure of a variety of road and bridge construction projects through video submissions, the editors at Roads & Bridges are putting out a call for photo entries to display as a “photo gallery” on our website.

We invite construction professionals, DOT members and enthusiasts to submit a series of photos showcasing in-progress road and bridge construction projects. We are looking for a series of 15-30 images that highlight a single construction project and showcase an aspect of current construction. Enough images should be submitted in order to adequately present the project in question. A 50-100 word description of the highlighted project should be submitted to accompany the photo series. Selected photo “albums” will be featured on the Roads & Bridges website, as well as in our Top 5 Weekly E-Newsletter. Low-res JPG and PNG files are acceptable.

An example of a project photo gallery we hosted in the recent past may be found here.

If you have an engaging selection of images representing an active road or bridge construction project in your area and would like to share it with our audience of over 60,000 construction professionals, please send a packaged/zipped file with the photos as an attachment to either Managing Editor Brian Budzynski ([email protected]) or Associate Editor Tim Bruns ([email protected]). Alternatively, you also may contact one of the editors to receive access to our Dropbox account to submit image files.
