Blocks

When a $300 million shopping development in Nova Scotia needed to build a roadway over a creek, it needed aesthetic walls that wouldn’t take away from the natural feel of the area. The wing walls and headwalls were constructed using Redi-Rock precast zero-batter limestone blocks reinforced with geogrid. Custom Redi-Rock blocks integrated with the arches and a 2-4 man crew installed the blocks. To finish off the bridge and provide guardrails, Redi-Rock freestanding walls were installed, j-bolted in place and capped.
