The Bid-Well 4800 automatic roller paver from Terex Roadbuilding, purchased specifically for this project, was the primary piece of equipment paving the 12 lane-mile overpass, requiring 25,000 cu yd of concrete. The 4800 paved each three-lane overpass full-width, averaging 52 ft.
