Nominate your high-quality asphalt pavement for the National Asphalt Pavement Association’s Quality in Construction (QIC) award today!

NAPA’s QIC awards recognize exemplary quality hot-mix asphalt (HMA) paving throughout the United States. The QIC awards are open to all HMA producers/contractors, regardless of membership in NAPA.

Firms may nominate more than one paving project for an award. Pavements must be surfaced within the current or preceding calendar year. Only U.S. projects are eligible.

All nominations are sent to the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) to be reviewed by pavement engineers, who assign each pavement a numerical grade. All nominated pavements whose test results meet or exceed a benchmark figure receive the award.

During the 2008 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz., 2007 QIC award winners will be honored as a group during the Tuesday morning breakfast. A PowerPoint presentation with photos of the winning projects will be played. Pictures of the winning projects will be prominently displayed throughout the annual meeting.

The deadline for entries is a postmark of October 12, 2007.
