As the home of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA’s) office of Research, Development and Technology, the TFHRC provides the world community with the most advanced research and development related to new highway technologies.
“The TFHRC plays an important role in ensuring a safer, more reliable highway transportation system, with activities that range from investigating the collapse of the I-35W bridge to testing new road designs,” said Bill Wilson, Roads & Bridges Editorial Director and Roads & Bridges Live Conference Chairman. “Roads & Bridges is pleased to work with the TFHRC to share this resource with conference participants.”
The TFHRC tour will occur from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, June 5. Tours are available to Roads & Bridges Live: State of the Industry – Funding Conference attendees for an additional $95 per person, which includes transportation to and from the TFHRC and continental breakfast. Space is limited for the opportunity, with preference given to the first 48 conference registrants.
The Roads & Bridges Live: State of the Industry – Funding Conference is one of three events to be hosted by Roads & Bridges magazine in 2009.
