Low load angles

Sept. 8, 2005
The Hydraulic Sliding Tail (HST) trailer (Circle 934) from Trail King, Mitchell, S.D., combines the movable wheel area of a sliding axle trailer with the tail of a hydraulic tail trailer to deliver a low load angle. With the wheels moved forward, the HST’s hydraulic tail can be lowered to a low 10° load angle. The resulting transition from the tail to the deck at the hinge point is so small that even equipment with very low ground clearance, such as scissor lifts and manlifts, can be loaded with ease.
