 OUR LATEST POLL

U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich sent a letter to the FHWA asking the agency to consider adding a multilane requirement to the contract of the Inner Belt Bridge in Ohio. The Ohio DOT failed to include such an item in the bids it submitted, stating it was dealing with a tight deadline. ODOT added it would provide alternate routes for bikers and pedestrians. Who is right?

I think ODOT should have included bike/pedestrian access on and around the new Inner Belt Bridge.
I am sure ODOT turned over every stone to accommodate everyone during the planning process. The FHWA should not intervene.
Who cares who is right—just get the project moving.
