Kodiak Northwest high-speed runway brooms from Kodiak Northwest, Paul, Idaho, are driven with a closed-loop, hydrostatic brush drive in widths available from 16 to 25 ft. All brooms come standard with a 46-in. broom wafer of wire poly filament or a mixture of both. Kodiak provides superior power through increased horesepower and larger pumps. Clearing speeds of 35 mph can be achieved while Kodiak brooms remove snow of all types. During the summer, brooms also can be used to clean debris from runway surfaces.
