Excavator guidance

On a rugged LCD display panel in the cab of an excavator. The MC200 Digger indicated the exact bucket position in real time relative to the desired finished grade to enable automated machine guidance for excavators. A rotating laser, in combination with the laser catcher as reference, provides a constant grade regardless of the height of the excavator itself. The mc200 digger from Leica Geosystems, Heerbrugg, Switzerland, also has a learn and Dig feature that makes I east for the operator to set up multiple profiles on the job.

The angle sensors are shock resistant to 500 g and can be left in place while using a rock breaker attachment. The bucket sensor is totally waterproof.
