Optelecom-NKF Inc. has released the compact H.264 Siqura MD6x PTZ IP camera series, which offers the indoor MD60 and the outdoor MD62. All of the MD6x cameras support open streaming architecture (OSA) for easy integration with video management systems. With flexible compression standards for streamlining network performance, both cameras are capable of streaming H.264 and of simultaneously streaming MPEG-4 and MJPEG. The MD6x series cameras feature a web-based user interface, allowing users to configure settings or view video streams from either a PC or handheld devices. To accommodate a variety of surveillance conditions, the MD6x series includes day/night (IR-cut filter) and backlight compensation.
