The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently designated the ClearLane enhanced deicer with a Design for the Environment label. In the new formulation, traditional sodium chloride has been replaced with a blend of salts and organic additives to maintain the fast-melting, non-leaching, cost-effective performance, and reduce environmental impact.
