Semi-truck reportedly struck a beam, killing one

A bridge carrying traffic over I-35 in central Texas has collapsed after a semi-truck hit a beam. The beam fell on passing vehicles, and Fox 4 News out of Austin is reporting one fatality.

Traffic in both directions on I-35 in Salado, Texas, was at a standstill.

The Texas Department of Transportation was not releasing any details on the collapse, which occurred in the late morning hours on March 26.
