In celebration of its 40th year manufacturing skid-steer loaders, Case Construction Equipment, Racine, Wis., has launched the Case Rockin’ Block Party campaign—a year-long series of events that will be held at Case dealerships across North America.
The company began producing skid steers in 1969 after acquiring the Uni-Loader line from Universal Industries and has since sold nearly 250,000 skid steers.
Case expects more than 40 Rockin’ Block Parties to be thrown by dealers this summer alone.
“Customers, co-workers and family members will be invited to celebrate our 40th anniversary with a day of music, prizes, food and fun,” said Jim Hasler, vice president of Case. “Plus, we’re inviting customers to climb in the cab of a skid steer for a demo and a chance to win a new skid steer valued at more than $47,000.”
The Rockin’ Block Party events also promote local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, as both Case and its dealers are donating funds toward their local Habitat for Humanity organizations. In addition, businesses will be encouraged to volunteer manpower and other support at these events.

The new Case 400 Series 3 skid steers (Circle 900) feature radial- and vertical-lift configurations, redesigned cabs offering more room and better visibility and serviceability for increased uptime. These machines are available with temperature-controlled cabs, hydraulic quick couplers, ride control and MP3 player ports. To further boost productivity, more than 75 compatible attachments also are available.
