All-terrain crane

Nov. 2, 2012

A four-section boom highlights the RTC-8080, the newest of Link-Belt’s Series II cranes. The boom can extend from 41 ft up to 217 ft and does not require grease thanks to Teflon wear pucks in the wear pad surface. Three onboard fly options can add up to 64 ft of additional reach. A 270-hp, Tier IV-compliant Cummins engine drives the machine, while the direct-mount power-shift transmission controls six forward and six reverse speeds. The optional Hydro-gas Ride suspension improves handling at higher speeds. All vehicle information is displayed via the Pulse total crane operating system.
