  • Gribbin to be nominated by president for U.S. DOT general counsel

    David James Gribbin of Virginia to be nominated general counsel of the Department of Transportation
    January 17, 2007

    President George W. Bush intends to nominate David James Gribbin, IV, of Virginia, to be general counsel of the Department of Transportation, the White House announced recently.

    Gribbin currently serves as division director of Macquarie Holdings Inc. Prior to joining the Australian firm, Macquarie, he served as chief counsel of the Federal Highway Administration. Earlier in his career, he served as director of Public Sector Business Development at Koch Industries Inc. Gribbin received his bachelor's degree and law degree from Georgetown University.
